PermSelect® silicone membrane modules use silicone hollow fibers with exceptional gas transfer properties. Because silicone is dense (non-porous), liquids cannot grossly transfer through the membrane. This enables silicone's use in liquid contacting applications with all compatible liquids regardless of surface tension. Moreover, the dense membrane also provides a means for separating gases due to the permeability difference between gases in silicone, and more specifically as provided by the separation factor.

PermSelect® membrane modules provide a highly efficient radial flow design through a densely packed bundle of uniformly spaced apart hollow fibers. Our membrane modules are available commercially with membrane surface areas of ten centimeters square, 2,500 centimeters square, or one meter square.
